Simone and Jorden’s North Charleston wedding was a favorite of our Sophisticated Affairs team. The amazing color palette incorporated warm blush and burgundy tones, accented with touches of gold.
During Simone’s freshman year of college, the couple met when Jorden, who serves in the Navy, was home in Rock Hill visiting family. They chatted and became acquainted but never realized where that day would lead.

Simone spent the early afternoon hours with her bride squad. A little bonding time, hair and makeup on-site, and some fun pre-wedding photos. How adorable are these satin monogrammed robes for her bridal party?
Wedding Ceremony and Portraits
The afternoon was filled with the couple exchanging wedding vows before heading off for some wedding portraits.
Meanwhile, their wedding guests made their way to the reception venue and enjoyed cocktails and lite bites. Their monogrammed ice carving and fruit and cheese display was an incredible focal point.
Elegance, Sophistication, and Bling
The newlyweds popped in for a first look at the wedding reception and a few photos and were completely blown away.
Long guest tables were draped with deep blue embroidered linens. The tabletops were layered gold textured charger plates, eclectic gold banded china, and gold-toned flatware. Dark blue napkins accented the custom menu cards and gold acrylic nameplates.
Collections of candles and luxurious tall arrangements filled with hydrangea, orchids, and roses filled the room.
Round tables dotted the room with alternating designs, from shimmering pink linens with mercury glass candle goblets to soft pink embroidered linen with 3D floral appliques with chunk gold candlesticks. The tables were filled with delicate floral pieces, shimmering votive candles, and gold beaded glass chargers.
The unique design with its unique textures and colors created a sophisticated, luxurious wedding reception.
The evening was filled with a delicious dinner, dancing, and closed with Simone and Jorden cutting their stunning four-tiered white wedding cake. The mixture of scrolling, monogramming, and satin bands added yet another element of interest.
